How big are your bins containers?
All of our containers are 7 feet wide, designed to fit in a single car parking space. Our 16ft., 10ft. and 5ft. long containers are 8ft. tall and our 8ft. container is 8 ½ feet tall, designed so customers can stand a sofa up on end and movers can load items higher and tighter, optimizing square footage.
How much will a 16ft bins container or two 8ft bins containers hold?
We find that one 16ft Bins® Container or two 8ft Bins® Containers will hold roughly all household furniture for a typical 1800 to 2000 sq. ft. three bedroom home. This doesn’t always include a full basement, large kitchen appliances or patio furniture.
How much notice do I have to give to get a bins container?
We require just one business day’s notice to schedule a job.
Where are you located?
We were founded in Ohio in 2005 and are headquartered in downtown Columbus. We love being a homegrown company. Our warehouse is located at 2200 Fairwood Ave. Columbus, OH 43207
What areas do you service?
We primarily service Central Ohio (Franklin and the surrounding counties) but can service other counties upon request.
We always charge a flat rate within 30 miles of our warehouse at 2200 Fairwood Ave. Columbus, OH 43207. When we get outside of our 30-mile radius we do charge a nominal per mile fee to cover our cost for extra fuel, labor, time, etc.
Additionally, we do offer in-state moving services. If you are looking for in-state moving services outside of Central Ohio, give us a call at 1-800-GOT-BINS and we’ll get you an exact quote!
Will you be able to place a bin in my driveway?

What are your rental periods?
We offer a 14-day rental and a 30-day rental period. The 30-day rental has a one-month minimum.
Do you pro-rate your rentals?
Yes, we pro-rate for five days after your recurring rental date, which starts on the day of delivery. This applies only to rentals that go beyond the first 30 days.
We have a one-month minimum rental payment period (you can keep the Bin for as long or as little as you’d like!) but starting the second month we do prorate for five (5) days after your recurring rental date, which starts the day of delivery. On the sixth day we do charge for the full month.
We don’t pro-rate 14-day rentals.
Can I rent for less than 14 days?
The minimum rental period is 14 days. Even if you only need the container for a week, it would be considered and priced as a 14-day rental.
What happens if I keep the bin beyond the pro-rated period?
If you keep the bin beyond the 5-day grace period, we charge for the full month. However, if you return it within those 5 days, we’ll refund the difference minus the number of pro-rated days used.
Are there certain items I can't store in the container?
Yes, please do not store combustibles like propane or fuel tanks, paint, batteries, cleaning supplies, etc. Lawn equipment may be stored if all fluids have been drained. Please do not store perishable food items. We also suggest heirlooms or other rare valuables be stored elsewhere for safekeeping.
Do you require a contract?
Yes, we require an e-signature on our Terms & Conditions prior to delivery.
Can I insure my belongings?
Absolutely! We’ve partnered with Storage Protectors, to make coverage easy.
Are bins containers safe and secure? What materials are used?
Yes, Bins® Containers are made from a galvanized steel frame and an innovated composite material that is extremely durable and damage resistant. Bins® Containers’ side walls, doors and floors are constructed from a high-density polyethylene core thermally bonded between two high-strength steel skins.
Each panel and product contains post-consumer recycled thermoplastic resin produced from recyclables like water bottles, milk jugs or detergent containers that have been collected for recycling and transformed into a usable product. And, at the end of the Bins® Container lifespan, our panels are 100% recyclable.
Our original Bins® containers are all aluminum with hard plastic side walls and roll-up doors.
Do I supply my own lock?
We do ask customers to supply their own lock, providing safety from forced or unwanted entry.
What's the difference between on-site rental and warehouse storage?
On-site rental means the container stays at your location. Warehouse storage means we keep your container in our temperature-controlled facility. We charge a premium for warehouse storage due to the controlled environment.
Do you offer short-term rentals?
Yes, we offer a 14-day rental option which is priced $30 less than our standard 30-day rental.
Do you offer discounts for on-site rentals?
Yes, we offer a $30 discount for on-site rentals compared to our temperature-controlled warehouse storage option.
