Bins LLC needed a larger bin of its own.
They found their new warehouse located at 596 Claycraft Rd., Columbus, OH 43230.
The upstart mobile storage container company has moved its offices and warehouse from north Columbus to Gahanna. The move this week quadruples the company’s assembly and storage space and brings it one step closer to the goal of franchising, founder Greg Tuel said.
The previous home was 3,000 square feet within Leaders Moving & Storage Co.’s offices and warehouse. Bins’ new warehouse at 596 Claycraft Road, near Port Columbus International Airport, is 12,000 square feet with an option to take on another 12,000-square-foot building next door.
“We loved the location,” he said. “It’s got great visibility from (Interstate) 270, high ceilings. We can stack them three-high. It was perfect for our needs.”
Tuel has been developing Bins, which is short for Bring-In Storage, since 2005 and began delivering the mobile storage units in early 2009. The company, which assembles the containers and outfits its trucks in the warehouse, has expanded from 50 units at startup to 140.
“We actually ran out of containers at one point last year,” he said.
Tuel declined to share revenue, but said the company doubled its sales last year and expects to do the same this year.
